Gary Dansie, MEd, MBA, MS
After completing a BS in Marketing and an MEd from the University of Utah, Gary began his career in marketing. His clients included Fortune 500 companies and start-ups, but his real love was being an entrepreneur.
In 1995, Gary co-founded DIGOP with his son Chris. DIGOP was a Microsoft Gold Partner that specialized in building web software for the healthcare industry. Prior to its acquisition in 2008, DIGOP grew to maintain the public face for over 800 websites and multiple healthcare Web Apps serving over 5 million authorized users. DIGOP also incubated several other startups that have either been acquired or are still active today. After DIGOP, Gary founded Recovery Help, the first fully telehealth addiction treatment accredited by the Joint Commission, which was also acquired.
Because of his love for learning, he completed postgraduate courses at the Jack Welch Management Institute, HEC Paris (the #1 business school in Europe), and completed an MBA and MS at Western Governors University.
Throughout his career, he has written hundreds of scripts for video and other media. Through his clients, he has obtained insider access to the workings and cultures of dozens of organizations ranging from International to startups to turnarounds.
While he has written for hundreds of media pieces, Iterate to Innovate is Gary’s first publish book.
Gary is a skilled photographer, graphic designer, strategist, and small-business consultant. In his spare time, he loves to travel and paint in a mixed-media style.
While he lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, the world is his playground.
